Wilanów Palace, also known as the Wilanów Royal Palace, is one of the most valuable Baroque residences in Poland. It was built at the end of the 17th century as the summer residence of King John III Sobieski. The palace survived the partitions of Poland and both world wars without major damage, making it a unique testament to the former glory of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.
